Mammal Expeditions

Many of the world’s mammal species are endangered; and the ecosystems and habitats on which they depend are in decline. These endangered species and resources form one of Earthwatch’s four priority research areas. With mammal projects on nearly every continent – from the magnificent wildlife of Africa and the Amazon to the marine mammals of Northern and Central America as well as more familiar species closer to home – there are dozens of projects in need of volunteers which offer you the opportunity to contribute to the survival of your favourite species, and the experience of a lifetime.
